In the INF, showed solid actions. Avg. footspeed/quickness but there is some sureness to his movements where he plays through the ball well and shows clean glove actions to both sides. Avg. time out the glove and uses an extra shuffle before getting off throws. Shorter arm action where he works to an over the top slot and where throws showed above avg. strength and carry across. At the plate, sits in a medium base and uses a smaller forward move where his foot gets down early. Hands showed avg. quickness where they threw the barrel on a more direct path to the baseball. Inconsistent timing (late) throughout his round showing trouble at deeper contact points. Best contact during BP was through the middle of the field where some batted balls showed quality backspin. Found a couple pullside barrels in-game. On the mound, he shows a repeatable operation. Works exclusively from the stretch. Uses a hip high knee tuck with smaller drop in driveleg. Lands on-line with an avg. length stride. Compact circle out the glove that works up to a higher 3/4 slot with decent arm speed. FB worked up to 81, showing some steep angle to it from his higher slot. Mixed in a mid 60 slurvy breaker that had some hump out the hand but flashed a couple good ones with bite during his outing.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
