2024 South High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Ben Casey is a 2025 OF/RHP/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Woods. Primary outfielder with a physical frame. Moves well to the ball for his size and works through it with intent. Showed good fundamentals out there with plenty of arm strength behind his throws. Was up to 86 from the outfield with good carry and accuracy. Also ran a 7.16 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base and high handset. Uses a small stride into contact. Hands rear back on the load and gets too tight at times. Was able to impact liners to pull during his round. Could tap into his lower half more to get into some more power. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
