Shane Sassin is a 2025 C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Oak Ridge. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 7.03 runner in the sixty, primary catcher on defense, is aggressive coming out of his crouch and shows his athleticism well, has some arm strength and made accurate throws, game 2.03 pop to get a runner, not always consistent in his footwork throwing. Right handed hitter, sets up in a closed stance with a low hand set, has an aggressive move into contact with a firm front side to hit off, has some bat speed and strength at contact, still developing consistency in his length and swing plane. Good student.
