Kenny Koplove is a 2012 SS/RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Philadelphia, PA who attends William Penn Charter HS. Slender young build, wiry present strength. 7.09 runner, good infield actions, moves through the ball well in games, light on his feet, good release, has middle infield tools, infield arm strength velo exaggerated by extra step and effort but plenty of arm. Right handed hitter, rock back load, quick short hands to the ball, pull line drive contact, free swinger who tends to expand the zone, will benefit from more strength offensively. Also pitches, multiple release points, 90-91 from 3/4's, 85 mph from side arm, varies release on breaking ball at all angles in between, some effort on release, good life on fastball. Good student, verbal commitment to Duke.
