2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (June 21)
Cooper Mullins is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-10 168 lb. frame from Homewood, AL who attends Homewood. Medium frame with good muscular development and a lot of time to refine and add mass and explosiveness. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.72 seconds. Primary position catcher, with an upright stance and rigid lower half to start. Flowing hands to a clean midline transfer and standard arm path to release. Coming out of his legs a bit early in transition but the arm plays soundly here. Generated throws up to 73 mph and a pop-time best 2.00 seconds. RHH starting tall pre-pitch and working some rhythm before starting to impact. Hands dominant swing with a fairly flat path. Will roll the hands a bit early here and there and top spin some contact but when on plane and in the middle of the field showed best impact. Bat speed present with some nice projection. Outstanding student as well.
