Michael Lynch is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Norman, OK who attends Mount Saint Mary. Recorded a 7.59 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a long and lanky build, has plenty of room to fill and physical development remaining. Primary left-handed pitcher, utilizes a longer arm action that gets offline with deep plunge in the back. Comes from an over the top slot, really closes himself off on the foot strike and throws across his body, creating some funk/deception. Flashed a 12-6 breaker with substantial downer action, has good feel for it and used it often, developing sharpness/depth at present. Mixed locations well, developing strength at present, will continue to grow and get stronger. Secondary outfielder, fields out front and stays directional with the target, uphill thrower with some looseness to the actions. Right-handed hitter with wide base and open stance, utilizes a leg lift trigger with limited load into the back hip. Low hand and back elbow set, showed a long swing with developing bat speed, tended to be late in this look, will improve as he gains the strength to control the barrel. Excellent student.
