Joaquin Cavazos is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Concordia Lutheran. Medium frame with a leaner build. Ran a 7.58 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, lower effort delivery and showed feel for 3 pitches; has some athleticism to the process, medium arm stroke and stays on line/on time, cuts the fastball some into the low-80s, fills the zone well and shows 2 different breaking balls, curveball is more top to bottom, slider a firmer and more lateral pitch with spin over 2200. Also plays some infield and outfield, corner guy at both spots and shows feel as a whole, clean exchanges and arm plays well at both spots. Left-handed hitter, wider base to start and pretty athletic process, short and quick swing, creates some torque and impact, will impact well with some added consistency.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
