Nicklaus Sakowski is a 2024 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends St John Neumann. Solid athletic build with good present strength. Primary left handed pitcher, has a compact delivery and hides the ball well in back in his delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, works from the third base side of the rubber and might benefit from moving across the rubber to create angle. Fastball worked in the mid-70's consistently, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Threw a soft slider with some downer shape as his primary secondary pitch, also flashed a developing change up. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow start with a big hanging load to time his swing, swings hard and has some bat speed and ability to impact the ball, drove the ball to the gaps, could continue to improve as a hitter with a simpler pre-swing approach. 7.04 runner who plays first base on defense. Graded out better as a player than pitcher at this event. High energy kid who enjoys being on the field. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
