Adrian Salas Rivera is a 2022 C/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Aguadilla, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Recorded a 6.90 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a lean and athletic build. Showed a quick transfer behind the plate and gained ground well. Stayed low through the throw. Showed solid arm strength and accuracy with a best pop time of 1.90 during drills. Right-handed hitter and starts from a narrow base with high hands a high back elbow. Simple shift to the ball and showed good bat speed. Flashed some impact strength when on time and backspun some balls. Really athletic look behind the dish with the offensive tools to offer some upside at the plate. Excellent student. Named to the Florida Propsect Showcase Top Prospect List.
