Brock Havens is a 2027 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood. Primary 1B with a lean and athletic frame. Has good length in the frame with long limbs and profiles well at first. Showed good footwork around the bag and could make clean turns to second. Gets the glove down on time and fielded it cleanly out in front. Big target around the bag and should stick there. Also played outfield and was up to 85 from there. Waits back on the ball a bit with a one hand gather to his side fielding it but works through it and throws had good carry and accuracy behind them. Ran a 7.13 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a low 3/4 slot with some crossfire action from a full arm swing. Coils his back to the plate on the delivery causing some deception. Works in line and downhill well from the full windup. Was up to 80 off the bump and could locate his fastball well. Went to a slider with 2-plane break and late bite. Definitely more in the tank here and plenty to project on. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base. Uses a small leg raise and stride into contact for timing. Was able to get on plane consistently and could spray liners all over the field. Good rhythm in the box overall. Will need to be more consistent with his bat path moving forward as he profile more as a gap-to-gap hitter. Good Student. Named to the South All State TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
