2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (26-27 Grads)
Ryan Garcia is a 2027 SS/3B/OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Barbers Hill. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 6.45 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defensive, has athletic footwork and works through the ball well, solid back hand actions, hands were soft and clean, showed arm strength from an over the top arm slot, changed his arm slots well. Also worked out in the outfield and showed big arm strength, very clean and athletic actions, might be a bigger asset in the outfield with his overall tools. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a inward toe tap load and a low hand set, short shift into contact, pretty static and simple approach, swings hard but wasn't consistent with his timing or barrel path, still developing as a hitter but outstanding overall athletic tools. Good student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championships Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
