Bryce Fontenot is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 235 lb. frame from Flowery Branch, GA who attends Cherokee Bluff. Thicker physical build with very good present strength. Two-way prospect as a right handed pitcher and power hitting first baseman. Was electric on the mound, as he ran the fastball up to 93 mph from a controlled delivery with good lower half engagement and huge arm speed. High spin fastball that carried the zone extremely well, into the 2700 RPM range with sharp, horizontal slider that generated tons of whiffs. Showed ability to both carry and sink the fastball, while repeating his delivery effectively. Secondary first baseman with some agility around the bag, a clean funnel out in-front and big arm strength up to 92 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a high hand set and hanging leg lift trigger. Intent based stroke with plenty of present bat speed and usable power. Loud impact when on-time with the barrel, showcased huge power potential. Intriguing two-way prospect with tons of upside. Good student.
