Andrew Boeser is a 2021 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Shoreview, MN who attends Mounds View. Large and projectable frame with room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher with an extremely short arm action, doesn't get extended in the back. Slight coil of the hips with a leg kick above the belt, uses the lower half very well to drive down the mound. Very quick arm, has some deception to the delivery/release as he hides the ball the entire time. Shows a short curveball with limited tilt/depth, throws the slider hard with late bite and 11/5 shape. Changeup is a weapon for him, tunnels it quite well and has late fade. Pounded the outer half and showed great command of each pitch, dominated during his outing. Arm speed and secondaries project well. Good student. Iowa Central CC commit. Named to the 2021 Pitcher/Catcher Showcase Top Prospect List.
