Devin Saenz is a 2029 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Pasadena, TX who attends Deer Park. Young, lean frame with plenty of time to continue gaining strength. Ran a 7.92 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, works around the baseball with some feel for angles and timing to the footwork, bends at the waits and fields out front with a clean two hand funnel. Accurate across with developing arm strength, recorded throws up to 67 mph. Right-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow with medium and even feet in the stance, impacted the baseball to all fields with solid bat speed for the age. Should see bat speed/power tick up with additional strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from the middle of the rubber, short leg lift, lower three-quarters release point. Fastball worked in the low-60s, topping out at 64 mph (1767 RPM) with arm-side sink, mixed a slider, up to 58 mph (1688 RPM) with horizontal sweep.
