Sayler Melton is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Milton, FL who attends Milton. Big build with some length and physicality. Works from the stretch with a high leg raise over the rubber, lands slightly open out front, long arm action to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, gets good arm side run and some sink on his fastball. Curveball has good power and tight spin and has some sweeping depth. Threw strikes with both pitches and pitched to contact. 8.07 runner in the sixty. Plays corner infield when not on the mound, best suited for first base, fields the ball confidently out front, arm strength plays well on both sides. Left handed hitter, has lift in his swing and plenty of raw bat speed, creates carry to all fields, especially when he turns the barrel, has some upside as a hitter. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
