Aubrey "Wells" Peterson is a 2025 1B/RHP/IF/OF with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Undecided. Bigger frame and build with strength present. Room to continue filling out the frame and adding in more strength. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary corner infielder who worked out at first base with throws at 86 mph across the diamond. He had aggressive footwork with feel to work through the funnel and come up throwing hard. Aggressive actions overall and a whippy and compact arm action through a quick release. Intent to the actions showed. Quick feeds and throws to second on the double play turn at first base. Strong arm talent that shows at first base and when he worked out at shortstop. Threw 84 mph across the infield with good corner actions. He pulls through the throws with a fast-moving frontside and higher over-the-top-slot. Developing glove actions with lateral range that showed while working out at shortstop. Corner actions and footwork showed. Peterson also worked out as an outfielder, fielding the ball off to the side with a longer and whippy arm action from a higher slot. He pulls down extremely hard through release, throwing 85 mph on throws that were around the tag zone on short hops. He showed good arm strength all across the board. A right-handed hitter with some twitch in the operation. He keeps an even base in a slightly open stance. He stays short and direct to it, and impacts all fields well with some jump off the barrel. Tons of strength off the barrel with a feel to impact it loudly and do damage in the air. He uses a toe tap trigger to stay on time, and he was able to leave the park on several home runs during his round of BP swings. He took the hands to it and found ways to lift it well. Several homers in BP with a 90 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Good student. Named to 2024 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase TP List.
