Zachary Sanchez is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia. Long, slender frame with plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.10 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Used deliberate footwork to range laterally to either side, displayed a clean funnel and worked through the baseball with similar pace. Produced fairly accurate throws up to 72 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with small side-step and belt high leg lift into balance. Deliberate pace down the slope, fastball worked in the low-70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 75 mph from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Flashed developing breaking with 12-6 shape and gradual movement to it, will continue to improve with additional velocity. Strike thrower that competes in the zone with his present arsenal. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider base with a high hand set, high back elbow and small leg lift trigger. Compact, line drive stroke with gap-to-gap approach, has feel for the barrel and adjusts well. Projects for more power as he continues to add strength but impacts it well. Good Student.
