Lincoln Berg is a 2025 1B/LHP, C, OF, UT with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Olympia, WA who attends Olympia. Medium frame with some athleticism present in the young build showing space to make jumps as he matures. 7.80 60-yd. Showed future two-way potential working well on the mound and at multiple defensive positions. As a pitcher worked from the stretch only with a belt-high leg lift landing in line down the hill with a shorter stride. Very controlled actions on the hill allowing the average arm swing to occasionally load the shoulder and consistently finding the high-3/4 release showing low effort out of the arm. Fastball able to work armside to throw strikes and added a short curveball to keep hitters off-balance. Velocity for the fastball is strong for the age and could see it continue to tick up easily. Defensively worked in the outfield and at first base with the arm strength from the hill carrying to both positions. From the outfield, the arm worked fluid and loose as he was on time and under control to the baseball with accurate throws. At first base, the glove played softly with flexibility in the hips to get low and the ability to make throws from multiple slots. Glove skills at first can improve as he learns to catch the ball out front more consistently. Offensively starts narrow and tight with his hands using a kickback to allow the compact barrel through the zone after a toe tap trigger. Swing has low effort suggesting more as he matures and showed some feel for the barrel even as he stuck to the pullside. Upside available in the young skills.
