Lio Garcia is a 2028 SS with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Buford. Medium athletic build. 6.67 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has quick and quiet feet, comes and gets the ball very well, plays on the move, soft hands with clean funnels, nice arm strength and makes accurate throws, has all the tools and actions to be a top level defender. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open spread stance with a short stride into contact, turns his lower half well, line drive swing plane with fast hands and good present bat speed, projects as a hitter as he gets stronger. Good student.
