Jeremy I Castro Perez is a 2022 C with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Central Pointe Christian. Large frame with some strength to the build at present. Ran an 8.01 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows quick feet and quickness working through the ball, transfers low and gets upright to release showing a clean release and accurate throws down to the bag. Switch-hitter, grades out a bit better from the right side; sets up even and open, loads deep and fires his hips hard into the swing. Shows good bat speed through the zone and has impact strength when he is able to get to it. Same setup from the left but a bit busier with the hands and works around the ball looking to produce line drives to the pull side. Good combination of strength and bat speed to build on.
