Cole Holsomback is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 152 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Taylor. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, angles with drop- step, creates space, developing arm strength, feet are fine and hands work well, can stick up the middle with current look with the future potentially at second base. Left handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and upright stance with a small shift to his back side, has good rhythm in his swing, on the barrel often, some stretch created, linedrive contact, really hit well in game with three hard hit barrels, feel to hit there was evident. Good student. Named to the 2025 PG Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
