Hunter Heintz is a 2026 RHP/IF with a 5-11 172 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia West. Lean athletic build with some lower half strength and more to come. Primary right handed pitcher utilizing a simple side step delivery with good tempo. Gets over front side well and works downhill effectively. Clean arm circle and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball produced occasional run to arm side, topped at 78 mph. Curveball flashed shorter 10/4 shape in the upper 60's. Changeup rolls out of hand easily and matched arm speed effectively in the low 70's. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing smooth paced footwork while funneling with two hands out front. Flashed occasional range while working to the ball. Produced accurate throws across the infield topping at 78 mph. Right handed hitter with a balanced lower half an simple stride into contact. Loads hands to a deeper position on launches to contact with present bat speed. Create loud, hard contact when squared to each gap. Good student.
