Joshua Malucci is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends River Ridge. Medium build with some developing strength in his lower half. 7.75 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, throws from a lower arm slot, stays balanced well charging the ball and playing on the run, best suited in actions and athleticism for second base. Right handed hitter, hits from a high hand load with a hanging knee raise trigger, foot can be inconsistent getting down on time, line drive swing plane, flashed some strength on contact. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a longer high 3/4's arm slot that is different than is arm action in the infield. Fastball topped out at 77 mph and was mostly straight, also threw a soft curveball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
