Jason Dinh is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cypress Ridge. Primary MIF with a shorter athletic build with some present strength. Athletic fielding position and gets to the ball well. Showed good lateral range with quick and light feet. Moves well on the infield with a clean gather and funnel. Gets it out in one motion with a quick transfer and release. Shorter arm action and was accurate with his throws. Showed fluid actions overall on the infield and made plays in game action. Also played outfield and was up to 82 from there. Stays behind the ball well and fields it cleanly. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Also pitched throwing form a high 3/4 slot from a pretty quick arm. Works with tempo and could pitch backwards. Fastball worked up to 81 with life and could locate it. Curve with 10-4 shape that he could land with bite. LHH with an upright narrow base. Uses a medium sized leg lift and stride into contact. Showed good rhythm in the box and got on plane consistently. Showed good impact to the pull side but could use the entire field well. Gets into his lower half well with a clean weight transfer. Bat to ball stood out and should continue to get better. Elite level student. Named to the National South Showcase Top Prospect List.
