Myles Gomez is a 2025 SS/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Nutley, NJ who attends St. Joseph Regional. Medium, athletic build with well-proportioned strength present throughout. Primary shortstop, stays light on the feet, taking quick and efficient routes to the baseball. Funnels it smoothly with present softness and speed in the hands. Makes clean transfers and separates into a medium arm path. Good internal clock with plenty of range in the dirt. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 81 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a high back elbow and low hand set-up. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing before working into a line drive stroke. Plenty of present quickness in the hips and hands. Repeats his swing mechanics efficiently, creating consistent impact to the middle of the field. Has the ability to generate lift to both gaps. Recorded two loud barrels to separate parts of the field during live action. Plus runner; ran a 3.67 sec thirty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the 2024 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday) Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
