Nathan Ferris is a 2024 3B/RHP, SS with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Eads, TN who attends Christian Brothers. He ran a 7.37 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a long lean build. On the infield he showed some bounce to his step moving well in each direction as he receives the ball out front bringing it in to a longer gather with a lower release on his throws. On the mound he does a nice job of driving down the hill with his lower half using his length to his advantage as he gets to a high three-quarters slot, the fastball sat 74-78 mph as he worked to both halves of the plate, he also tunneled the curveball off of it well and mixed in a changeup as his third pitch. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base taking small stride into contact with young bat speed through the zone using the middle of the field at his best. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
