Jordan Owens is a 2029 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Tom Glenn. Smaller young build with some strength for his size. 7.22 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, works through the ball well and shows quick feet and an idea on his footwork, fielded the back hand easily, good arm strength for his age and size, natural middle infield actions. Also worked out in the outfield and showed his athleticism and tools well there, would be fine in center field. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight balanced stance with a tight hand load, short and direct contact oriented approach, has good hand speed and hits through the ball well. Also pitched, has a compact high 3/4's arm action and repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, worked the fastball down in the zone well and threw strikes aggressively. Also spun a low 60's curveball with some 11/5 depth to it.
