Anthony Castillo is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 152 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Homeschool. Lean, wiry frame. On the mound, the wind up had lower lift and short arm action into a high three-quarter slot. He segments the delivery well with in line actions down the mound. Fastball plays true and scattered the zone throughout the outing. Loose breaking ball is an effective change of pace with short depth. In the infield, he creates good angles with his footwork and shows solid first step quickness. The glove works well in unison with the footwork. Throws across displayed solid to average carry. Left handed hitter sets up with a wild spread base. The swing has rotational aspects that create decent bat speed. Its a simple approach that is line drive oriented through the gaps. 7.07 60 yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
