Nate Simon is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Avondale, PA who attends Avon Grove. Simon works from a lean projectable build with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '26 prospect. Starting as a primary OF, showcased good buildup footwork with max effort throws up to 75 mph. Consistently put throws around the plate with arm strength expected to further develop in the future. On the mound, the LHP started from the 3B side of the rubber and displayed a chest high leg lift before breaking into a shorter in-line arm path and 3/4 slot. FB was successfully located to all quadrants with two plane tilt to the breaker at 1449 rpm. Ultimately topped out at 72 mph. Offensively, Simon started from an open base with good barrel control and hand speed present. He effectively created contact to all parts of the field with repeatability to the stroke. Posted an exit velo of 77 mph. Ran a 7.15 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
