Hutson Hargrove is a 2025 C/RHP/1B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Fairview. Medium build with good size for his age. 8.19 runner in the sixty, young actions behind the plate defensively, two-piece actions transitioning to throwing, developing arm strength, makes accurate soft throws to the bases. Also plays the outfield. Hits from a still start at the plate, needs to develop some flow into his swing in order to be on time, short downhill swing plane. Graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Works from the stretch with a full arm action and 3/4's arm slot. Steady mid-70's fastball, filled up the zone to both sides of the plate with the fastball and gets nice running and sinking life that got under barrels and creates weak contact. Still developing his curveball but the arm works well with movement that is hard to teach. Good student.
