Alex Star is a 2022 SS/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Brookfield Academy. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.68 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, sits back on the ball a bit and comes at it deliberately getting himself in a good fielding position; funnels it cleanly out front with looseness to his exchanges and a compact arm action producing some carry on throws across. Right-handed hitter, sets up balanced and slightly open with a short stride into contact; has some length through the zone as he works to the middle of the field and will improve impact off the barrel as he adds consistency and strength in the hands. Outstanding student.
