Nicky Vendola is a 2023 SS/C, 2B with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from White Plains, NY who attends White Plains Senior. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to grow. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front and shows balance and athleticism to actions, charges and rounds the ball well, quick transfer out of glove, shows ability to throw from multiple release points, shows range up the middle. Also caught, quick transfer and receives the ball out front, tight arm action, gains short ground and repeats actions well. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Remains short to the ball with swing path with a high finish through point of contact, projects with additional lower half utilizes. Show a feel for the barrel and has contact skills, projects with added strength to frame. Excellent student.
