2025 PG 14U Coastal All-State Games (Invite Only)
Owen Butler is a 2029 SS/RHP/1B with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Fredericksburg, VA who attends Chancellor. Recorded a 7.73 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with atall and lean frame. Showed quality fundamentals in the infield and took efficient angles to grounders. Showed solid feel and released from a lower slot to throw across the diamond. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Loads the hands to deep to create separation and showed projectable bat speed through the zone. Employed a pull side approach during the round and showed the ability to lift and leverage to left field. Swung it well in game with impact as well. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Longer arm action through the back with some whip. Fastball featured some life to it and topped at 76 mph. Showed a curveball with 11-5 shape and solid depth to it. Repeats the mechanics well and operation is loose.
