2024 Scorpions (TX) Prospect Showcase  
Nolan Cruz is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia West. Long, wiry build and athletic look to his body. Long limbs with ample projection in store. Ran a 7.27 in the sixty yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, sets just off the first base side off the rubber in his windup. Belt high leg lift into a high three-quarter slot with good extension out front. Drives off the mound, pulls off just a bit late and can help clean up his direction. Gets on top of his fastball well. Sharper slider and curveball to mix that mimicked some shape, but each had intent and distinct break. Flashed a fading changeup a handful of times with armside depth. Lots to like, great student.
