Arthur Aranda is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from North Hollywood, CA who attends St. Genevieve. Compact frame with some physicality to build at present. Ran a 7.61 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, shows simplicity to actions with good intent to how he works. Slight coil back towards second base with leg lift and carries momentum hard to the plate. Fills the zone with a fastball in the mid-70s and showed feel for a breaking ball with good shape to project upon. Also worked out in the outfield, shows athleticism to action and a quick arm where he stays on top of his throws well with accuracy to bags. Right-handed hitter, sets up spread with high hands and a high back elbow using a big left lift trigger for timing. Gets good rotation into contact staying inside the ball with a short and direct path that played well in game action where he picked up a pair of ground-rule doubles.
