Jack Doss is a 2028 RHP/1B/SS with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Rouse. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Standard side step/leg raise delivery, fast paced but stays over his back side well, gets down the mound well, compact arm action with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was consistently in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Threw a slurve type sweeper as his breaking ball, gets under it at times but will also show some depth at times. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a big leg raise load and a low hand set, pull and lift approach, has some strength at contact and raw bat speed but gets long and disconnected often, power approach. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the infield and showed his arm strength, throws from a long and lower arm slot than he does on the mound.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
