Zachary Halligan is a 2023 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Uniontown, OH who attends Walsh Jesuit. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Two-way prospect who graded out higher as a right handed pitcher at this event. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Shows good arm strength in the infield on defense with developing accuracy and footwork, has quick feet for his size and shows range to both sides. Right handed hitter, hits from an open and narrow stance with a low hand load, has lift in his swing and some ability to drive the gaps, power and ability to drive the ball will continue to develop as he gets stronger. Works from a full windup on the mound with simple directional mechanics and a big stride down the mound, whippy over the top arm action. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some heavy life down in the zone, gets on hitters quickly. Curveball had good sweeping shape with some late bite. Talented young player with lots of areas to continue to improve. Excellent student. Named to the Northeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
