Liam Gutierrez is a 2028 3B/RHP, 2B, IF, OF, UT with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends The Kinkaid School. Medium frame with emerging overall strength, solid dexterity and plenty of time to add. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.03 seconds. Primary position infielder, with a good foundation from a footwork standpoint, showing quick first step. Deliberate transfer after working the glove out front nicely in the middle of the body. Longer arm action with solid strength up to 79 mph across the diamond. Similar actions from outfield, working uphill to throw back to bags reaching 72 mph here. Secondary RHP, working from the full windup working through a natural 3/4 arm angle with emerging command of the zone. Fastball up to 74 mph with some arm side run and bigger two-plane breaking ball in the low-60s with more to come. RHH working from a wider stance, high handset with tilted barrel pre-pitch. Does a nice job of getting into the slot and getting the ball in the air with projectable power. Showed tremendous ability to stay on time and peppered the ball with line drives through his middle of the field approach. Solid projection on the mound and with the stick.
