Adam Kidder is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Germantown, TN who attends Houston. Athletic build with good present strength. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, moves well behind the plate and is athletic in his shifting and coming out of his crouch, has some arm strength from a high arm slot, makes accurate on line throws, all the tools to catch at the next level. Switch-hitter, has a similar approach from both sides of the plate, aggressive uphill swing, looking to pull and lift the ball, can get long at times but flashed power from both sides, swing path and consistency is better from the right side in this outing, will have to make adjustments to get to fastballs up in the zone consistently. Good student, verbal commitment to Catawba Calley CC.
