Tanner Gillean is a 2025 1B/LHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood Park. Broad frame with good musculature and overall athleticism, durable middle of the order type profile. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.3 seconds. Primary position 1B, showing familiarity around the bag and making plays through good angles. Solid work with the glove into a deeper funnel. Throws up to 79 mph across the diamond and displayed the ability to throw from multiple angles with accuracy. RHH starting with a balanced and slightly open stance, nice handset and quiet load pre-pitch. Hands work tight through the zone and showed natural loft and the ball gets off his barrel. Whips the hands through delivering the bat head with aggression and showed good pop to the pull side. Elite performer in the classroom.
