Sean Gallagher is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Newburgh, NY who attends Home School. Medium, high-waisted frame with square shoulders and plenty of room to fill out. Recorded a 7.93 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with athletic actions into and throughout the fielding process. Displays clean funnel of his front foot to field, carries momentum into release and exhibits good carry on his throws. Recorded online, accurate throws up to 82 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with methodical pace to it. Incorporates slightly coiled leg lift into balance and works down the slope with a lengthy stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the majority of his outing, ticking slightly up in the low-80s early on. Strike thrower with some carry to his fastball, commands both sides of the plate effectively from an extended three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in promising 12-6 curveball for strikes and faded changeup with good depth as his secondary offerings. Curveball flashes potential swing-and-miss traits when thrown with conviction. Repeats well, fills up the strike zone and projects to add more velocity as he physically matures. High upside on the mound. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a lower hand set and hover trigger for timing. Whole field approach with loose, quick hands and consistent contact. Generates some whip to his barrel and gets good extension out in-front. Solid overall hit tool with good feel for the barrel that will continue to improve as he physically mature. Solid overall skill set with two-way upside as he continues to add strength. Good Student.
