Maddox Bell is a 2030 C/RHP/2B with a 5-8 136 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Horizon. Mediem compact build. Primary catcher, that sets up with square stance and transfers away from the frame. Medium length arm action but quicker process. Could drive the lower half more effectively. In the infield, he tends to wait back but gets to the spot on time. Low three quarters arm stroke produced accurate throws across. On the mound, its a full windup with coiled leg lift. Sits and drives hard down the slope. Three-quarters slot with true 4 seam fastball. Occasional sink to it. Curveball has round shape and soft depth. Left-handed hitter, wide base and elongated hand load into separation. Its a contact oriented approach with top hand dominant swing. Strides into impact. Geared through the middle. 7.70 60-yard. Excellent student.
