Callen Flowers is a 2029 2B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from Edisto Island, SC who attends West Ashley. Recorded a 7.54 second sixty yard dash time. Tall frame with a lean build. Primary second baseman with a softer glove and fundamental actions on the dirt. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from the stretch only from the first base side of the rubber with a step to the side into a belt-high leg lift and hands start at the belt, breaking into a medium length, in-line arm path and accelerating through a nasty, low three- quarter arm angle. Clean down the line with loose actions and a whippy arm. Living at the bottom of the zone well with sinking action to the fastball (2134 RPM) that was up to 78 with good spin. Paired it with a mid-60s slider (1911 RPM) with sweep. Projectable on the mound. Right-handed hitter starts from a wider stance with high hands, utilizes a heel lift trigger. Settled in well during the round with middle-of-the-field line drive contact. Exciting player with a ton of upside on the mound.
