Santiago Lamas is a 2026 2B/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Thomas. Medium frame with wiry strength and time to continue to add physicality. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.40 seconds. Primary position infielder, showing the ability to get into proper angles with some first step quickness. Clean overall glove work working with some softness, deep funnel and clean midline transfer. Medium arm path with good accuracy and some carry with throws up to 73 mph across the diamond. Right handed hitter, with standard balanced setup and good handset. Emerging strength in his hands at impact with an uphill path. Saw his best contact in the middle of the field staying gap to gap. Solid student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
