2025 PG Sophomore National Showcase (2028 Grads)
Tillman Schroeder is a 2028 RHP/1B/SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Park Ridge, NJ who attends Paramus Catholic. Solid young athletic build with good length and some present strength. Works from a full wind up with a full arm path in back, good drive down the mound, fast paced overall mechanics, throws from a mid-3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the mid-80's with heavy late sinking action. Threw two distinct breaking balls, the better one a short slider in the mid-70's, the other a slower curveball where he slows his arm into release. Also threw a soft sinking change up. Mixed up his pitches and threw any pitch on any count. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and at first base on defense, looked very good at both, takes good routes to the ball in the infield and makes accurate throws from all slots. Arm was very accurate from first base as well with quick feet and hips on his turns. Right handed hitter, sets up in a deep hand load, rotational upper body swing with some length through the zone, was on time. Good student.
