Christian Acosta is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Oradell, NJ who attends Don Bosco Preparatory. Acosta works from a medium build with strength present throughout. As a primary 1B, he displayed a controlled pace with a compact arm action across the diamond up to 63 mph. He consistently produced accurate throws on the bag with room to add on to the lateral range and footwork. From the OF Acosta continued to keep the mechanics under control with arm strength up to 64 mph. At the plate, the righty worked from a narrow stance with the ability to create contact to all parts of the field. He generated his best impact back up the middle with a level bat path producing line drives with flashes of backspin. Posted an exit velo of 73 mph. Ran a 8.25 sixty yard dash.
