Tyler Witt is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from New Ulm, TX who attends Burton. Primary SS/3B with a lean and athletic frame. Works to the ball fine with good lateral range and profiles best on the corner. Uses a 2 hand gather and funnel to chest working up the middle with a low slot release. Showed a clean and adjustable slot. Was up to 83 from the infield and 84 from the outfield. Also ran a 7.00 sixty. RHH with a medium and even base. Uses a medium sized stride out for timing and rhythm. Showed good feel in the box to get extended and controls the levers well with power projecting the best here. Showed loud middle of the field impact with bat speed and barrel control. Stays compact through the zone with good hand speed all around. Also pitched, throwing from a loose 3/4 slot with good arm speed and pounded the zone. Fastball worked up to 83 with really good life to it and located it East to West well. Locates and pounds the zone with it. Went to 2 distinct breakers. Curve worked up to 70 with more vertical action and gradual depth to it. Slider up to 75 showed good 2-plane bite to it with slurvey shape. Quality 3-pitch mix with feel for all 3 and should continue to get better with velo trending up. Named to the South High School All State Games TP List. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
