Chase Hill is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 144 lb. frame from Titusville, FL who attends Titusville. Lean young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and crouched stance, swings hard, well sequenced swing and engages his lower half well, pull to mid field line drive approach, has quick hands and some bat speed with more to come. 7.39 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, best moving to his left, soft hands and quicker transfers in that direction, tends to be late with the glove to his back hand, over the top arm action when he has his feet set, better from lower slots on the move, has some athleticism to continue to develop with repetitions. Took a turn on the mound, has a compact delivery with a full arm stroke to a high 3/4's arm slot, longer stride down the mound. Fastball topped out at 71 mph to go with a soft curveball.
