Carver Salazar is a 2024 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 6-1 168 lb. frame from Arnold, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. High-waisted, long projectable build with some lean muscle present throughout his frame with more physical projection remaining to be added. 7.55-second runner during the sixty. Primary middle-infielder, fields out in front with a funnel. Moved well laterally with deliberate footwork, showcasing some range as he ranged up-the-middle. Up to 84 mph across the diamond with carry displaying present arm strength. Showcases a strong feel for the position with ability to stick up-the-middle. Secondary right-handed pitcher, athletic operation with a whippy, loose arm action, coming from a 3/4 slot. Uses lower half to get down the slot. Fastball came out of his hand clean, getting on hitters quickly with natural cutting action. Curveball presented vertical tilt and horizontal depth with swing-and-miss potential as he gains overall confidence in the pitch. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance with a high back elbow. Compact, line-drive stroke with consistent middle-of-the-field impact. Displayed feel for the barrel with flashes of juice to the gaps with some power potential as he continues to add strength. Tremendous student. Named to Northeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
