2023 National Showcase
Jake Yeager is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Odenton, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. Long and projectable pitcher's build. Long and loose arm action, very high leg raise, very good arm speed, has some energy release but repeats his delivery well and maintains his stuff well. Fastball topped out at 95 mph, maintained 92-94 throughout his entire outing, has lots of life on his fastball with cut at times and big ride up in the zone, has a chance to throw very hard one day. Firm change up was a nice pitch that was tunneled well with his fastball. Breaking ball was a sweeping slider, can get on top of his slider more consistently for better two-plane shape. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Maryland. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic Team.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
